Keith Dotson’s photo of a misty lake can now be seen on the cover art for Jim Witzel Quartet’s new jazz album
Keith Dotson is proud to announce that his photograph, “Misty Lake, Early Morning,” can now be seen on the cover of a wonderful new jazz CD from the Jim Witzel Quartet, which is based in the San Francisco area.
Members of the Jim Witzel Quartet include Jim Witzel on guitar, Phil Aaron on piano, Dan Feiszli on bass, and Jason Lewis on drums.
The album cover was designed by Tom Wacha. Quartet bassist Dan Feiszli also engineered the album.
The album is titled Very Early: Remembering Bill Evans, is a tribute to Bill Evans, whom the quartet calls one of the most influential jazz pianists of all time.
