Baby wipes may seem like an odd piece of photography gear, but they come in “handy”
Sunscreen is a necessity for landscape and outdoor photographers, but it leaves a greasy residue on your hands, which can easily be transferred to your gear. To solve this problem, I keep a pack of baby wipes in the trunk of my car, alongside my camera bags and tripod. When I arrive at my location, I apply the sunscreen and then use a moist towelette to cleanse the sunscreen from my hands. I also keep plastic grocery bags for storing the used wipes for later disposal. Get yourself a pack from Amazon and toss them in your car so they’ll be there when you need them. You’ll thank me later.Discover more from Shadows and Light
