See a variety of painted turtles sunning themselves on logs in our local urban wetland
In this short video, you’ll see a variety of painted turtles, large and small, sunning themselves on logs in our swampy local wetland. The wetland was formed by the flow of graound water from a nearby natural spring, and shaped over the decades by human intervention on the landscape.
Today the wetland is home to many kinds of wildlife including birds, turtles, reptiles, fish, raccoons, ducks, frogs, muskrats, beavers, otters, and more.
