In this video, we shoot abandoned buildings in a small town called Hollow Rock, Tennessee.
Welcome to Hollow Rock, Tennessee.
This community was established in the 1860s when the railroad was completed, and a station and telegraph office was located here. Several saloons followed and the settlement was a rough and ready place — one source said there was a lot of violence.
The town got its name from a unique rock formation nearby. I tried to go out to see it but the road was washed out in several places and my car wasn’t up to clearing some of the big ruts.
While in town, I made black and white high-resolution photographs and I also shot some Polaroid SX-70 black and white film.
