Pictures of an abandoned delivery truck that became stuck in a ditch on a curvy backroad a long time ago, and was never rescued
I’m not sure what happened here. It seems this old Ford delivery truck driven into a ditch along this curvy back road in the hills, and was never pulled out again. How long has it been here? Why did they leave it? The answers are uncertain, but the truck itself is a visual feast, with it’s fading yellow amateur paint job cracking and peeling away from the metal.

From the direction of the rust on the back of the truck, it’s obvious this old Ford has been sitting here for a while. That’s a rather large hole in the passenger side windshield (detail below).

Whoever gave the truck its final paint job did it by hand, with a paint brush. Brush strokes are still visible, and the work was sloppy, even covering over locks. On the detail photograph (above), beautiful cracking patterns can be seen.

The paint is lifting and peeling away from this old Ford logo on the side of the truck. And, at bottom left can be seen a patch of mold. Over time, nature will reclaim these materials.
I hope you enjoyed this unusual look at this unclaimed old truck. Fine art black and white photographs can be purchased by clicking on the photographs or the links in the captions. I have tons of other photographs on my website.
Thanks for reading.
