Stone age valentine: Fine art photographer Keith Dotson discovers a heart-shaped stone
I’ve heard of a heart like a wheel, a heart of gold, and a heart of glass, but a heart of sandstone?
I recently found this cool, heart-shaped rock while hiking along the river’s edge in Little River Canyon National Preserve in northern Alabama. The area is known for its scenic beauty, and for over 10,000 years of human activity. Maybe this really is a stone age valentine.
