An interview with photographer Keith Dotson has been published in the new book, Haunted Highways of Virginia by Michael Kleen
In August 2025, I was interviewed about my experiences shooting photos at the ghost town in Union Level, Virginia. The resulting story has been published in a new book from Arcadia Publishing, Haunted Highways of Virginia by Michael Kleen.
The book also drew material from my video interview with Union Level native Jimmy O. Thompson, who owns several of the remaining “abandoned” buildings still standing in Union Level. That interview can be seen on YouTube here.
