I love the rusty texture, layers of fading colors, and sense of history of these old train cars
Walk with me as I explore the texture, style, and nostalgia of historic antique train cars, retired and rusting on the tracks in Alabama. It was a hot, bright day for early October, but I was undeterred.
Skip to 4:02 to see if I got any good shots, but don’t miss the opening sequence of the most intense field full of kudzu I’ve ever seen — acres and acres of the stuff.
Black and white photographs from this shoot can be seen in my portfolio here.
