I’ve added new images to my popular portfolio of classic American automobiles that are rusting away in the forest

It’s already been a year since I walked a vast patch of piney woods in north Georgia about an hour outside Atlanta. Every car in these woods is a subject worthy of a full-scale photo session . . . and there are literally thousands of cars here.

A never-before-seen video shot during my visit to this goldmine of rusty photographic subjects.

I got lucky on the light and arrived on site on a cloudy day, because direct sunlight is murder for photography in a woodland area like this. Harsh light and dark shadows would have ruined the day.
