If this tree was in Japan, it would have ribbons and folded paper prayers tied around it.
It carries old spirit.
It has gentle power.
Big medicine.
Pieces of it are strewn around the area. There are the blackened signs of lightning fire inside it.
Even though it looks dead, the top branches still hold fresh spring growth.
