Introducing my new series of natural objects shot against a bright white backlight
I’m pretty excited about this new set of photographs I’m just beginning. It’s a series of black and white photographs of natural objects — things like flower blossoms, fallen leaves, and pine cones, all silhouetted against a bright white backlight.
The effect creates a high contrast, textural look that I’m loving.
Perfect for home or office decor
These are large scale images that would be suitable for home or office decor, but especially for commercial interior design projects where designers want a touch of nature combined with dramatic imagery. These photographs printed at a large size are certain to be a conversation starter in any space.
Museum-quality fine art prints
These are finest quality art prints made on museum-quality baryta surface paper. Baryta paper is made from a cotton or alpha cellulose paper base with a barium sulphate coating that gives the prints stunning tonal rendition and sharpness.
The paper comes from legacy mills in Europe that have made artist’s papers since the 1500s.
There are only a handful of completed photographs so far, but I intend to grow this new collection over time.
