Exploring an Abandoned Farmhouse in Tennessee [video]

Photos and video from a walk through an abandoned farm with a ruined farmhouse and collapsing barn.

I recently had the opportunity to (legally) walk though the grounds of an abandoned farm, where I was able to shoot the inside of a ruined farmhouse that still had some chairs and other furniture strewn about.

Newspapers on the walls

Of particular interest are the newspapers used as wallpaper. People in the south used newspaper as an inexpensive form of insulation. In this house, it appears to have been layered under real wallpaper.

I found a few publication dates on the papers, which are 1950s-era copies of The Nashville Tennessean, which is still published daily as The Tennessean.
