A resident has told me that many buildings shown in the video, and others not shown, are being demolished
I’ve received word from a viewer that there’s been a lot of activity in Hollow Rock, Tennessee, which I visited in June 2022 (video below). I’m learning that many of the old buildings I photographed there have been razed as well as many others I didn’t see on that visit.
But specifically this old farmhouse is being torn down at this moment. As much as I understand the necessity of this, I hate to see these historic old beauties go. I’m grateful I was able to capture images of them.
The Hollow Rock news comes in a string of recent notices I’ve received regarding the loss of endangered places I’ve photographed, including the demolition of buildings in Wheeling, West Virginia, Meridian, Mississippi, and Glenrio, Texas.
