Full text of the Thomas Robie headstone in Salem

“Here lyes Inter’d ye Remains of
Mr. Thomas Robie born at Boston.
Educat’d in Harvard College of Which
For Several years he was a Fellow
Practiced Physick in this Town
Where he Died on ye 28 of August
1729 in ye 47th Year of his age.

Also William Robie ye son of Thomas &
Mehilabel Robie who died Novmbr ye
22, 1730 in ye 6th year of his Age.”
