Go along with fine art photographer Keith Dotson on a hike into the woods of eastern Kentucky to visit one of the tallest waterfalls in Kentucky
In this video, I’m bringing you along on a visit to an absolutely stunning part of the Daniel Boone National Forest in the Appalachian Mountains of Eastern Kentucky. We will be hiking to shoot black and white photographs at Yahoo Falls, a thin ribbon of water dropping in front of a rock shelter with evidence of human use up to 9,000 years ago.
On this landscape photography outing, I got lucky in two ways: I was graced with glorious soft light, and I had the falls area all to myself for quite a while — long enough to dally uninterrupted while making photographs and plenty of video.
