Fine art photographer Keith Dotson shares a look at some old 1916 snapshots from his collection of antique photographs.

In this video, we will look at a handful of loose pages from an old family album that I acquired recently.
I don’t know much about these photos or who the people were, but there are some clues as to some dates and locations within the photos or handwritten captions.

In one of the photos we can see an automobile license plate from the State of Iowa with the date 1916. Whether that car belonged to our photographer is impossible to know, but this person was a traveler.

Within the photos we see pictures of home, possibly in Iowa, and photographs taken in Colorado, Philadelphia, and New York City.

Below are a few highlights from the album

A snapshot of a double-decker bus on a busy street in New York City. Double-decker busses were introduced to the city as early as 1905.
