Checking out a 1946 General Electric DW-58 photographic light meter
In this video, we take a look at an old 1946 model of General Electric DW-58 photographic light meter, with its original packaging and literature. The data book shows that it belonged a gentleman named John Thompson, who was a US Navy Midshipman in pre-flight school at the N.A.S. Pensacola, Florida in the 40s. I’m a professional fine art photographer with a strong interest in history, and I love stuff like this, especially with its clear provenance to its original owner.
