Beautiful Red-Brick School Still Stands Proudly on the Wide-Open Landscape

We drove to Kansas specifically to make photographs of this incredible, abandoned schoolhouse. A sign on the property dates it to the timeframe of 1887-1945, but several online sources claim it was built in 1920, and served into the 1960s. A call to the historical museum was inconclusive, so we can only make assumptions that the sign at the school is accurate.
