A small example of nature’s perfect design
I’m endlessly amazed by nature’s ability to design beautifully and efficiently.
I found this rather unremarkable feather, but upon picking it up, realized it’s as sheer and translucent as a piece of fine lingerie — and so well designed to catch air, I could barely get a photo before the slightest gust lifted it off my fingers.
