Podcast: Why Do Those Crazy Landscape Photographers Always Get Up So Early?

Reasons to get up (very) early

In this short “on the road” episode, we list a few reasons for photographers to get up early — aside from taking photographs of the sunrise.

Some things, like this rare frost flower, can only be experienced early in the morning. This bizarre natural phenomenon occurs once per year at first freeze, and melts away when struck by the first rays of warming sunshine.

  1. Hi Keith! Thanks for the On The Road With Keith episode, you could make these a regular thing!
I agree, I’m a morning person too. My day job really only requires me to be somewhere early one day, but the other four I just like getting up and working while it’s quiet, and people free.
There is a peace in mornings that I think only the sensitive get, and thrive in, and thank goodness it’s available every single day!
Stay well and thanks for keeping it positive.
