Walking in an Old Southern Mansion [Video]

Walking in an Old Southern Mansion [Video]

Built in 1820, the shabby house was home to one of the wealthiest families in Charleston for over 140 years

In this video — third in my series made in historic, beautiful Charleston — we walk inside an old mansion which is being preserved, rather than restored. That means the interior is in a gorgeous state of shabbiness, with cracks in the walls, patches of bricks exposed through broken plaster, and wooden slats exposed in the ceilings.

Walk with fine art photographer Keith Dotson through this old Charleston house being maintained in a state of lovely decrepitude

Below are some detail images shot inside the old mansion.
